The Apartments

The inhabitants of this apartment block represent a selection of archetypal neighbours you might find living next door:- The Caretaker, beer in hand, watching the television in no. 1, while no. 2 gets burgled
No. 24 is told to “Get out and don’t come back”
while no. 23 asks you to “Come up and see me sometime”
The three policemen on the 8th staircase are on their way to solve the mystery in no. 33
and in no. 13 the guest for dinner does not arrive
The lady on the landing outside no.29 has found her Prince Charming in the Sports car below
The computer addict in no.28 never leaves his screen
whereas the people in no. 31 are always either giving a party or going to someone else’s
and in no. 3 breakfast in bed, some mothers do have them
On the roof She is collecting vitamin D and improving her tan
totally oblivious of His problems perched precariously on the parapet
