'The Office Christmas Party'
Front and back

This is supposed to be the typical office Christmas Party:- Everyone meets at the pub to have a few drinks and get in the mood - then on to the party - some slightly the worse for wear - the Christmas bonus gets handed out - The partners of the employees, - old wives and new girlfriends - who only met the ‘gang’ this once a year get introduced or re-introduced - The mistletoe is in operation - the new secretary from accounts is a popular choice and the top left corner is where he or she who has had too much drink goes to feel sick in private! - Then there is the rush to find a good table partner - the new secretary from accounts is top of the list!! and those who did not attend leave space around less popular employees - The Boss holds court at the head of the table - Crackers and party hats abound - The Boss makes a welcoming speech and the food and wine arrives - Conversation is animated, everyone listens intently to the Boss - The Boss orders more food and more wine - Betty from sales does her provocative dance on the table, again - Tom from maintenance has passed out under the tree and Sam is asleep at the table and the Boss is still holding everyone’s attention...? - the listeners are getting a little.....bored? - The music and obligatory dancing is next, Mary and John do their showoff ‘we can really dance’ routine and the piano is used for the customary embarrassing ‘Party Piece’ - Someone has cornered the, you guessed it, new secretary from accounts, in the boardroom with the mistletoe - but is about to be discovered by little innocent Sally - The Boss is still speaking......... and all but the tired are dancing...... The Boss was probably still speaking when you went home and you are left to imagine ‘the end’ and the next day back to work - “I did not do anything embarrassing did I ?”
