'Christmas Eve'

Christmas Eve is the front of the card. It is a starry night - freezing cold - the snowman is guarded by the cat in the garden. The presents are arriving, some not very cleverly wrapped! The decorations are being hung, the cooking and baking is continuing on the table while decorations are being made by children under the table - All is being made ready for tomorrow - The fire is set, the candles upright, someone is definitely going to fall over trying to put the star in the tree - while upstairs a young child is too excited to sleep in a bare room, perched up on three books to look out the window - while we can see the mouse in the roof and Santa on his way down the chimney

'Christmas Day'
the back of the card
Christmas Day is the back of the card. It is snowing heavily - The cat and the snowman have been joined by the children throwing snowballs - the presents have all been opened, it was a rocking horse, who would have guessed? The house is beautifully decorated everywhere the fire is roaring in the hearth a glass of something hot in hand. Dinner is cooked, the table is set and the candles are being lit and the tree survived the crash! The last person still working is mother - who would have guessed? While upstairs in a room full of toys - more children are playing while Granny reads a Christmas story to the baby - Oh and the mouse has a large chunk of cheese!
